Nara, Kiai
The Japanese pianist Kiai Nara studied in Tokyo, Berlin, Rome, Madrid and New York. She has won several prizes at international competitions including the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition, the José Iturbi International Piano Competition and the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition.
In 2000 she won the first prize at the Robert Schumann International Music Competition in Zwickau. She gives numerous solo, chamber music, song accompaniment concertos, as well as premiere concerts in the EU, USA, Canada and Asia.
Kiai is a professor at the Kunitachi College of Music in Tokyo. She also Teaches in international master classes in Asia and the USA. She lives in Berlin and Tokyo.
